Competition Timeline

Group Application Deadline: January 5th  

Teams Notified of Acceptance / Participation: January 14th

Opening Ceremony (Virtual): January 24th

  • Case topic and deliverable expectations will be announced at the opening ceremony

  •  50 student teams will be given four weeks to submit a written report about their project proposal and future plans. Written reports will be evaluated by at least 3 phase-one judges, and the competition will be reduced to 8-10 “finalist” teams

First Round Manuscript Deadline: February 20th

Finalist Teams Notified of Continuation: March 11th

  • 8-10 “finalist” teams will be given an additional 6 weeks to prepare a presentation about their solution and implementation feasibility. Finalist teams will give a 20-minute presentation in front of a panel of final-round judges followed by a 10-minute Q and A.

Finalist Presentations (In-Person): April 18th
